Livingstone, Zambia is a small town located in the Southern Province of Zambia. It is home to almost 170,000 people. Livingstone contains one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the breath taking Victoria Falls.

However, you do not need to travel far from the tourist area to recognize the poverty that exists and how it plagues the residents. In fact, many residents have never even seen the Falls that are a mere 15 minute car ride away. 60% of Livingstone’s residents live in poverty. 1 in 4 residents are HIV-positive and 1 in 3 children die before they reach the age of 15.
